Required photo checklist
Each tile below shows what to capture plus an example. Aim for 2–3 clear photos per area.
Front exterior
Step back to show the full front of the house, driveway, and yard if possible.
Example: Wide front shot from sidewalk or driveway.
Back exterior
Show the back of the house, patio, deck, or yard, including any additions.
Example: Wide back shot from corner of yard.
Street view
Stand in front of the house and take a photo looking down the street in each direction.
Example: Street scene showing nearby houses.
Kitchen
Take wide shots from 2 corners plus any close-ups of older cabinets, counters, or flooring.

Living room / main area
Stand in opposite corners and capture the full room, floors, windows, and any openings.
Example: Wide living room shot showing floors and walls.
Each bedroom
For every bedroom, take 2 corner shots and include closets, floors, and any ceiling issues.

Each bathroom
Capture the sink, toilet, tub or shower, flooring, and any visible damage or staining.
Example: Bathroom shot showing tub, tile, and floor.
Basement / attic / crawlspace
If accessible, take wide shots plus any cracks, water stains, exposed pipes, or insulation.
Example: Basement wall showing floor and foundation.
Garage / carport
Show the full space, floor, doors, and any storage or built-in shelving.
Example: Garage shot from back corner toward door.
Major damage close-ups
Zoom in on leaks, holes, cracks, pet damage, roof stains, mold, or anything broken.
Example: Close-up of ceiling water stain and crack.
HVAC unit & water heater
Take a clear shot of the full units plus a close-up of the sticker or label if you can.
Example: Full shot plus label sticker close-up.
Electrical panel & roof from ground
Snap the panel with door open and label plate, plus roof photos from the yard if safe.
Example: Panel label close-up and roof shot from yard (no ladders needed).
